How the Counselling Process Works
1
Connection
In our first session, we focus on getting to know each other and creating a safe, supportive space for you to explore your current experiences. I listen without judgement as we identify the challenges you’re facing and work collaboratively to set achievable, meaningful goals.
2
Conversation
Through our conversations, we explore your experiences, thoughts and feelings to understand how your current situation is impacting you. This stage of counselling helps you gain insight into your reactions, see things from a new perspective, and uncover underlying issues that may be affecting your wellbeing.
3
Change
In this stage, we focus on applying practical strategies to support your wellbeing. You’ll learn tools to manage emotions, navigate challenges, and take small, achievable steps toward meaningful, lasting change. The goal is to turn insight into action and empower you to move forward with confidence.

Life transition
“My passion for helping and supporting others has grown from many years of walking alongside, and supporting people, through various life challenges. After 15 years in the classroom, I felt frustrated that I couldn’t provide each young person the individual support they truly needed. Counselling has changed that. It allows me to focus fully on one person at a time, to slow down, listen deeply and really understand what someone is experiencing."
"People describe me as gentle, calm, warm, authentic, and non-judgmental."
